Eldyne introduced the first Digital Axle Counter
a Double block working application between Moula
Ali and Cherapalli (South Central Railway) which
urshered the Digital era for such safety signaling
product for Indian Railways. |

Year 2000
The largest Multi Section Axle Counter Central evaluator
with 16 detection point and 12 sections in the most
busy suburban section of Central Railway (Raoli
Junction), having extremely poor ballast condition
and severe flooding tracks was installed in a record
time of three working days. |

Central
Railway placed largest Digital Axle Counter
order on Thales / Eldyne.
296 detection points with 10 Multi Sections discrete
application and Single Sections with Point Zone
and loop lines of Wayside stations including Siding
and Yards. System Unique facility to share a detection
point between AzLM and AzLS is demonstrated here
in AC electrified area of Bhusawal Division.
85% of the total supply are installed and are working
satisfactorily, balance work waiting for site clearance. |

Year 2003 |
South
Eastern Railway placed single largest order
on Thales / Eldyne for Single Section application
for Block Working with LVC. Out of 108 Detection
Points, 79 Detection points are working satisfactorily
over one year in which most of the with IBH and
shared detection points. System was also demonstrated
to work in OFC medium. Balance works is targeted
to be completed by March 2005 subject to site availibility. |
